# Indiranagar Double Road Commercial Revised — R01

Separate reference-led design option, 13 September 2026. Original B01 and enhanced E01 geometry and downloads are preserved. Authoring dimensions are inches; interactive JSON/GLB/Blender use metres; STEP uses millimetres. This is a dimensioned architectural study with inherited unresolved RFIs, not an as-built or fabrication model.

## Revision scope

- Connected north basement glazing with three square-grille bays and shared heavy metal divisions. There are no masonry piers between these bays. Two full-height glass pedestrian doors with black aluminium perimeter frames replace the previous shutter. One continuous top member aligns the three grille bays and doorway. There is no separate transom or grille across the doors.
- Larger west strip windows extend towards the front column and turn through the existing wall offset. Separate solid piers remain at columns and crossing beams. Glass sits inside; grilles outside.
- Ramp-left protective sill and glazing remain; the heavier grille is flush with the original ramp-side wall face.
- Only the exposed ramp-right wall ahead of the front column is removed. Below-walkway retaining wall remains. A short guard joins back to the building pier.
- Roadside and main entrance guards have substantial posts, infill, handrails, base plates and modeled bolt heads. The 48-inch north pedestrian opening is retained outside the first base plate.
- The garage door is a sectional grille door shown fully open, with curved guides, horizontal ceiling tracks, four stored panels, rollers, hangers and an operator. It has no rolling coil.
- North/east/west facade glazing has broader black profiles and large panes. Rear side-window frames are coordinated. A glazed main foyer entrance is included at the head of the entrance flight.

Metal sizes describe the modeled outside sections, not a certified steel wall thickness, gauge or load capacity. Exact image measurements cannot be inferred reliably from perspective photographs. Reference appearance was interpreted within drawing-based geometry.

## North grille proportion correction

The original R01 left sill was +12 inches above the upper pedestrian landing, leaving too much solid wall. It is now +2 inches: the bottom of its 4-inch perimeter frame meets the landing at datum 0, and the glass panel gains 10 inches of height. This is the maximum exposed height with the existing head and external frame position without intersecting the upper landing. More wall exists below, but lowering the external frame further would overlap the landing over most of this bay.

The other sill centers are adjusted to −10.5 and −14 inches to match the connected stepped composition. Total outside frame heights are 50.03, 62.53 and 66.03 inches, or approximately 0.758 : 0.947 : 1. The straight-on reference visually suggests approximately 0.76 : 0.95 : 1; this is a visual proportion estimate, not a survey of the image. Openings, glass and grilles are rebuilt together. The latest update retains these grille proportions and widths. A single stepped masonry sill replaces the separate sill pieces; only metal dividers separate the openings. Door leaves now extend to the common head and have black aluminium perimeter frames. Railings, west windows, ramp and inherited structure remain unchanged.

## Items requiring coordination

1. **Garage headroom is unresolved.** With the inherited beam underside at approximately +40.03 inches and proposed open door panels at +34.5 inches, the first stored panel begins at Y=109.033 inches. Ramp level there is −38.075 inches. Clearance is approximately **72.6 inches (6 feet 0.6 inches)**, below the requested 81 inches (6 feet 9 inches). Guide hardware also leaves approximately 115 inches between the inner guide faces. Confirm the actual beam/ramp survey and a low-headroom door supplier layout before selecting this mechanism; do not treat it as proven to fit.
2. New continuous north openings and reduced masonry above them require a coordinated lintel/support detail. The 2-inch closure band above the grille is a proposed finish zone, not an engineered lintel. Inherited columns, beams and slabs were not removed.
3. Larger west apertures, the kink glazing, reduced solid sill heights, retaining-wall waterproofing and all anchors require architect/structural coordination. Grilles provide the proposed protection above low sills; guard compliance is not certified by this model.
4. Double-door swing/egress and glazing specifications require confirmation. Doors are modeled closed to preserve the entrance landing in this study. Glass thickness is illustrative.
5. The inherited basement commercial-room partition, services and two-car rear layout remain. This revision is the requested facade/metalwork option, not the earlier parking-only five-car proposal. Restaurant fit-out visible in the AI references is not represented in this geometry revision.

## Rebuild and files

Run build_revised.py (which also refreshes viewer asset URLs), then export_revised_step.py and render_revised.py from the source directory using Python with trimesh, numpy, shapely, mapbox-earcut, CadQuery and Blender bpy. The scripts resolve paths relative to the repository root. The source ZIP includes baseline JSON, solid specifications, CAD extraction and the two visual references.

Explicit older ?model=enhanced and ?model=baseline links on the main page redirect to the corresponding earlier model.

## Viewer delivery correction

The main page previously defaulted to E01, which retained 22 shutter-related components. R01 contains zero shutter components and two clear glazed pedestrian door leaves, with no opaque geometry intersecting the doorway. The main page now defaults to R01; earlier models are explicitly labeled and linked separately. Content-specific geometry and script filenames plus an uncached geometry request prevent an earlier response from masking updates. Run prepare_viewer.py after standalone viewer edits. This correction changes routing and delivery only; model geometry and the direct CAD renders are unchanged.
